Stella Henson'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
scant c. self-rising flour
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. fruit juice
fruit
1 c. juice from fruit
Preparation

Melt butter.
Make batter of scant cup self-rising flour, egg, sugar and 1/2 cup fruit juice.
Add melted butter.
Pour this batter into bottom of baking dish.
Have fruit boiling hot (add sugar to fruit according to need and kind of fruit when heating). Spoon fruit on batter.
Slowly pour on about 1 cup of juice from fruit over heated fruit.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
