Penuche Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Grease a small pan, approximately 4 x 8-inch.
