English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. water
    1 c. milk chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped almonds
    2 c. real butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and water in a saucepan.
    Cook to 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and quickly pour onto two buttered cookie sheets. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread as they melt.
    Sprinkle with chopped almonds.
    Cool and break into pieces.
