Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat, cut in small pieces
    flour
    oil
    onions
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    carrots
    celery
    potatoes
    parsnips
    parsley
    peas
    basil
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut stew meat in small pieces.
    Cover meat with flour lightly. Brown in oil (enough to cover bottom of pan).
    Brown onions.
    Add water (enough to cover meat).
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook 3+ hours.
