Grandma Esh'S Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pie shell
    1 lemon
    2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    1 c. milk
    butter (size of an egg), melted
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grate the lemon and squeeze out juice.
    Combine rind, juice, sugar and flour.
    Add milk, melted butter and 2 egg yolks.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into mixture.
    Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375\u00b0 until top is golden brown and thin knife inserted in middle shows clean (approximately 30 to 40 minutes).
