Cream Of Broccoli & Shrimp Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 block butter
4-5 Tbsp. flour
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli (if using fresh broccoli pre-cook before adding to soup)
1 lb. small shrimp, seasoned
2-3 cups milk or half & half (depending on richness desired)
About 3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese or Mexican Velveeta
salt, pepper & Tony's to taste
Preparation

Melt butter, add seasonings and saute about 5 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink.
Add flour, then slowly add 2 cups milk, stirring to blend on low to medium heat (High heat will cause soup to curdle).
Add cheese and melt.
Add broccoli and more milk if necessary for desired consistency.
Season to taste.
