John'S Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 garden fresh tomatoes, skinned
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. apple cider vinegar or 5% white vinegar
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 medium-sized bell pepper, finely chopped
    6 garden fresh jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
    1 tsp. garlic powder or 1 1/2 cloves fresh finely chopped
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 small can tomato paste
    3 tsp. cornstarch in a little cold water, well mixed (take out any lumps)
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in order in a large pot.
    Cook on medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Pour in jars and seal in boiling water for a few minutes.
