Sorghum Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. pea beans
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. sorghum
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    1/2 lb. salt pork, sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Place beans in a large crock; cover with water and soak 8 hours.
    Transfer to saucepan and cook until beans begin to simmer and skins burst.
    Drain.
    Place beans in a baking dish or pan. Mix ingredients and pour over beans, stirring well.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for several hours, until bubbly, but not dry.
