Mexican French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    1 small can green chiles, drained and chopped
    1/2 c. (or less) soft butter or margarine
    1 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    1 c. mayonnaise (can use less)
Preparation
    Slice bread in half lengthwise.
    Spread butter over surface of bread. Mix chiles, cheese and mayonnaise together. Spread over buttered surface of bread. Bake at 350\u00b0 until hot and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
