Fluffy White Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
2 slightly beaten egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar and water; boil, covered, until mixture spins 8 inch thread (242\u00b0).
Pour hot syrup slowly into egg whites with cream of tartar added when whites are frothy.
Beat constantly with electric mixer.
Add vanilla.
Continue beating until mixture is fluffy and will hold shape.
Icing for 2 layer cake.
