Yellow Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. flavoring
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
Preparation

Sift into bowl the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Measure the milk.
Add flavoring to milk.
Add to the bowl 1/2 of the milk, shortening and eggs.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add the remainder of the milk and beat 1 minute more.
Pour into 2 (8-inch) layer pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
