Seafood Marinara Con Linguine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3/4 c. onions, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 lb. medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1/2 lb. bay scallops
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 Tbsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. linguine
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In deep frying pan combine oil, onions and garlic; saute slowly until soft.
    Add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
    Cook about 10 minutes on medium heat.
    Add shrimp, scallops, wine, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Cook, uncovered, on medium heat about 10 minutes.
    Prepare linguine according to box directions; drain and top with sauce.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
