Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 oz.) can applesauce
    biscuit dough, rolled thin
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Using a deep ovenproof pan, put water 1 1/2 inches deep.
    Add sugar and butter.
    Boil until thin syrup.
    Roll dough thin; cut into 5-inch squares.
    Put 3 tablespoons applesauce in center of each square and top with pat of butter.
    Bring corners together and seal seams tightly.
    Place into boiling syrup, filling pan. Put pat of butter on top.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
