"Old Time" Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 stick margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
nutmeg
Preparation

Combine beaten eggs with other ingredients except nutmeg.
Pour into uncooked pie shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Cook at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Turn down oven to 325\u00b0 and cook 30 to 35 minutes.
Add meringue, if desired.
