Anise Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced anise
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 rib celery, sliced, with leaves
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. tomato ketchup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 drop Tabasco
Preparation
    Trim base of anise bulb and discard with stalks.
    Cut bulb into 1/4-inch slices.
    Combine all ingredients in a 1-quart casserole.
    Cover with plastic wrap and vent.
    Bake in microwave for 2 minutes on High. Serves 3 or 4.
