Old-Fashion Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. dried white beans
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 lb. bacon
    3 c. brown sugar
    3 c. catsup
    4 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
    1 tsp. mustard
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cover beans with water.
    Cook slowly to the boiling point. Drain.
    Cover them again with water and simmer long and slowly. After 2 or 3 hours, place a few beans in a spoon; blow on them. If the skin bursts, they are sufficiently cooked.
    Drain.
