German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. potatoes, boiled with jacket
1 lb. bacon
1 Tbsp. onion, minced
1/3 c. flour
2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. celery, diced
2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Fry bacon over medium heat.
Add minced onion and fry slowly until transparent.
Add flour.
Boil together vinegar, water and sugar.
Add this boiled mixture to bacon, onion and flour mixture. Slice potatoes.
Sprinkle with salt.
Add chopped celery.
Pour mixture over potatoes and keep warm until ready to serve.
