Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

13 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift sugar and flour separately, seven times each.
Set aside. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy.
Add cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff, but still moist.
Lightly fold sugar into egg whites. Carefully fold in flour.
Add almond and vanilla extracts.
Spoon batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Invert.
Cool 1 hour.
Turn out onto cake platter.
