Prune Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked prunes (reserve 1/2 c. prune juice)
    2/3 c. cornstarch
    2 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Pit and chop the prunes.
    Blend the reserved 1/2 cup prune juice with the cornstarch until smooth.
    Combine prunes, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch mixture in a saucepan.
    Simmer until thick and clear.
    Cool slightly.
    Add nuts and cinnamon.
    Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
