Chunky Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. chopped, peeled tart cooking apples
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and cook over low to medium heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Remove from heat and mash apples. Serve warm or cold.
