Cookie Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced peeled apples
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (20 oz.) roll refrigerated sugar cookies
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, allspice and lemon juice; toss to coat apples well.
    Spoon into ungreased 8-inch square pan.
    Use half of dough; drop by scant teaspoons evenly over apples.
    (Wrap remaining cookie dough and refrigerate for later use.)
