Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. sweet green peppers
    1 doz. sweet red peppers
    3 large onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 pt. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onions fine.
    Cover with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes. Drain.
    Cover again with hot water and let come to a boil.
    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
    Drain dry and add salt, vinegar and sugar.
    Cook for 15 minutes and pack hot in sterilized jars.
