Clam Dip In Sheepherder Bread Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and with all liquid squeezed out
    1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
    2 cans minced clams, drained (may use shrimp or crab)
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, finely chopped
    chopped green onion (optional)
    chopped fresh parsley (optional)
    1 loaf sheepherder's bread
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Chill for 1 day.
    When ready to serve, cut top off of bread.
    Hollow out and fill with dip.
    Serve with bread cubes.
    You may use a loaf of French bread cut in cubes for extra bread.
