Franklin Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter
    4 c. flour
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. nuts
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs well. Mix with butter, sugar and flour. Drench pineapple and cherries with 1 cup flour. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
