Corn Spoon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    3/4 c cornmeal
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 1/4 c milk, scalded
    2 T butter or margarine
    2 c cream-style corn
    3/4 tsp baking powder
Preparation
    Grease a 2 quart baking dish.
    Beat the egg whites at room temperature till stiff but not dry and beat the yolks till thick and lemon colored.
    Stir the cornmeal and salt into the scalded milk, beating hard.
    Stir till consistency of thick mush.
    Blend in the butter and corn and add baking powder.
    Fold in the yolks, then whites.
    Pour into a baking dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or till puffy and golden brown and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
