Ingredients

1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 c. thinly sliced apples
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat egg; add sugars and cream well.
Mix in dry ingredients and vanilla.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour into a greased 9-inch pie plate (batter will be thick).
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
