Ingredients

6 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. lemon, almond or anise flavoring
3 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1 c. of almonds or pine nuts, roasted and chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs, gradually add sugar and oil.
Add flour, baking powder and mix well.
Add flavorings and nuts.
Dough should be soft and pliable.
Form into 5 to 6 rolls and put on cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 - 20 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool about 15 minutes.
Cut crosswise into slices and return to oven.
Bake until golden brown.
