Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crackers (soda) or butter crackers (approximately 1 1/2 inner packs)
    cabbage (1 small head), cooked
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put a layer of crackers on bottom of 2-quart baking dish.
    Add 1 layer of cooked cabbage, then a layer of 1/2 can mushroom soup, followed by a layer of 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
    Repeat layers again.
    Add pepper (if desired).
    Top with crushed cracker crumbs on top.
    Bake about 20 to 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Crackers may be crushed for layers.
