"Best Caramel Icing" - cooking recipe

2 cans sweetened condensed milk
boiling water
Preparation

Remove labels from cans and place the unopened cans in a deep boiler and completely cover them with water. Boil these unopened cans for 3 hours, adding hot water as needed to keep cans covered. Be careful to keep cans covered with water the entire cooking time. After 3 hours, remove cans from boiler and open while hot, being careful not to burn yourself. Ice cake with hot mixture.
