Tailgate Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. well aged Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. butter
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. blended whiskey
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    Shred the cheese and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Cream the butter lightly and blend with the shredded cheese.
    Mix in the paprika and 1/4 cup of the whiskey until well blended.
    Let stand for 30 minutes.
    Slowly add the remaining whiskey until well blended.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Serve with assorted crackers.
