Butterscotch Banana Bread - cooking recipe

1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp. nutmeg
1/2 Tbsp. salt
1 c. ripe mashed bananas (2 or 3 medium)
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. milk
1 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. or 1 c. Nestle butterscotch morsels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
In a large bowl, combine bananas, sugar, egg and butter. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk.
Mix until well blended. Stir in 1 cup nuts and butterscotch bits. Pour into well-greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 cup nuts on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.
