Pineapple Macadamia Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
    1 c. pineapple tidbits, drained (one 13 1/4 oz. can)
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. soft shortening
    1 c. (18 1/4 oz. can) hot crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Using a fork, mix together nuts, drained pineapple tidbits, soda and salt. Add shortening and hot crushed pineapple.
    Mix all together well. Beat eggs; beat in vanilla and sugar.
    Stir in flour.
    Add pineapple mixture and stir just until well blended.
    Pour into prepared pan and bake 1 hour or until bread tests done.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
    Bread may be served warm or cold.
    Makes 1 loaf.
