Fresh Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. whole milk
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    6 c. chopped peaches
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and salt; add eggs and blend well.
    Add milk and cook slowly until slightly thickened.
    Allow to cool. Add whipping cream (unwhipped), vanilla and peaches sweetened with 1 cup sugar.
    Pour into freezer only 2/3 full and freeze.
    Makes 1 gallon.
