Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Combine flour and salt; work in the shortening until like coarse meal.
Sprinkle water over flour mixture until completely moistened.
Form into a ball.
Roll dough and fit into a 9-inch pie pan.
Prick pastry.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
Yield:
1 pie crust.
