Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. uncooked Creamettes
    2 c. milk
    2 c. diced, cooked chicken (tuna, shrimp, crab or ground beef)
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
    1 jar pimentos, drained and chopped
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 small can mushrooms, sliced
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    dash of pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
    Turn into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Cover with foil if it gets too brown.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
    You may use Velveeta or Old English cheese on top.
    Serves 12 generously.
