Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stewing beef
    4 or 5 carrots, cut up small
    1 onion, sliced
    3 or 4 medium potatoes, cut up
    1/4 c. water
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can tomatoes or 1 pt. home canned
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large casserole dish.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 4 1/2 hours (covered).
