Animal Cracker Necklaces - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 oz. chocolate candy coating, cut in pieces
32 animal crackers
32 small pretzel twists
8 yards ribbon or cord (1/8-inch), cut into 1-yard lengths
40 ring-shaped candy or cereal pieces

Preparation

Melt candy coating over low heat.
Spread candy coating on flat side of 4 animal crackers.
Place 1 pretzel in the coating on each cracker, leaving top two holes of pretzel open for threading cord of necklace.
Allow to set.
Repeat with remaining crackers and pretzels.
Put cord through pretzels/crackers, alternate with ring-shaped candy and/or cereal.
Makes 8 necklaces.
