Arroz Con Pollo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large broiler-fryer, cut up
    1 small can pimentos
    1 c. rice
    1 pkg. frozen green peas, defrosted
    1 c. water
    a little oil
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown chicken in the oil and transfer to an oven casserole.
    Add tomatoes and their liquid.
    Add rice. Lower temperature to 325\u00b0.
    Cover and cook for 1 hour.
    Fluff rice; add the defrosted peas and arrange pimentos on top.
    Cook, covered, an additional 10 minutes.
    Serve.
