Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pkg. frozen okra
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 pt. oysters
1 Tbsp. butter
1 small can chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
dash of pepper
1 small bay leaf
1/2 lb. shrimp
1 c. rice
Preparation

Saute the onion, green pepper, celery and garlic until tender. Add tomatoes, butter, chicken broth and all of the ingredients, except shrimp, oysters and rice, cooking on low heat for about 45 minutes.
Add shrimp and oysters.
Let cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Cook rice separately.
Pour gumbo over rice.
