Microwave Cooked Vidalia Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sweet Vidalia onions (about 3 to 4-inch diameter)
    1/4 c. unsalted butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Peel and cut root end off each onion so that it will sit level.
    Remove about 1/2-inch core from each onion.
    Press 1 tablespoon butter into cored center and sprinkle paprika over the top.
    Place in 9-inch baking dish; cover with plastic wrap (leave one corner open for vent).
    Cook on High power for 12 to 14 minutes or until tender.
    Let stand for 5 minutes; sprinkle with salt before serving.
