Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening (usually a little bit less)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 1/4 c. flour, sifted (sometimes more)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips, melted and set aside
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in egg.
Add milk and peanut butter.
Add sifted flour, salt and baking soda, then spread out dough on wax paper.
Spread on melted chocolate chips.
Roll up like a jelly roll.
Chill 1/2 to 1 hour in refrigerator, then slice and bake on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
