Cherry Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (9-inch) baked pie crusts
1 (16 oz.) can tart pitted cherries in water
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. flour
6 Tbsp. sugar (for meringue)
Preparation

Drain cherries and spread into 2 baked pie crusts.
Keep out 2 cherries to go on top of each pie.
Combine milk, sugar, flour and egg yolks in large pot. Cook until custard becomes very thick. Pour over cherries in each crust.
Use egg whites and 6 tablespoons of sugar to make meringue.
Place 1 cherry on top of each pie and brown.
