Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. solid shortening
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water
1 c. 100% bran cereal
3/4 c. seedless raisins
2 c. All-Bran ready to eat cereal
Preparation

Pour boiling water over cereal and let stand until cereal has absorbed water and cooled.
Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, salt and buttermilk; mix until smooth.
Blend cereal mixture into batter. Add raisins and All-Bran cereal.
