Fruity Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Jell-O (any flavor)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    additional Jell-O
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder.
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar and Jell-O.
    Cream well after each addition.
    Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
    Gradually add flour mixture, mixing after each addition until smooth.
    Roll and cut out or cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 13 or 15 minutes or until edges are brown.
    Store in loosely covered container.
