Uncle Ernest Brown'S Pepper Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. garlic cloves, peeled
1 to 1 1/2 lb. head cabbage
2 lb. onions
2 lb. green tomatoes
1/2 gal. hot peppers
3 to 4 bell peppers
1/4 c. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 gal. vinegar (5% white)
Preparation

Grind tomatoes, onions and cabbage separately.
Squeeze and discard juice from vegetables.
(Use cloth bag or cheesecloth.) As you grind peppers, add garlic gradually to grinder.
Mix all ingredients together and boil for full 30 minutes.
