Mom'S Pie Dough(Makes 2 Single Or One Double Crust) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg plus milk to make 1/2 c.
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cut flour, salt, baking powder and shortening with pastry cutter or dough hooks.
    Add milk and egg mixture until just mixed. Do not overmix, as this causes pie crust to become tough.
