Frozen Patio Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple and juice
    2 c. mashed banana
    2 c. orange juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
    10 to 12 maraschino cherries
    4 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except ginger ale and beat until fluffy in blender.
    Freeze.
    Pour room temperature ginger ale over frozen punch.
    Serves about 20.
