2 egg yolks, beaten
butter (size of egg)
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
few grains salt
grated rind of lemon or 1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
juice of 1 lemon or 1 tsp. vanilla
about 4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Spread over pudding and return to hot oven to brown, 4 to 6 minutes.
