Vinegar Drop Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. butter
    milk (enough to make a stiff batter)
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Put
    vinegar,
    water, sugar and 2 tablespoons butter on stove and
    bring
    this
    to a boil.
    Take flour, 1/3 cup butter and milk, mix
    together and by teaspoon drop in liquid.
    Cook slow.
    When done, add lemon extract.
