Virginia Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. stone ground white cornmeal
    1/4 c. melted butter (no substitute)
    4 large eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Heat the milk in a saucepan. Add the salt and stir in the cornmeal gradually.
    When smooth, beat in the butter and eggs.
    Pour the mixture into a well greased 2-quart baking dish. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
